Upon purchase of their new house, the homeowner was determined to make this house their home- A home environment that would accommodate their functional necessities on a day to day basis for a growing family of seven. The overall structure of the house was altered in a variety of ways- not only aesthetically, but the floor-plan was drastically re-configured to create an open floor plan in the central core, as well as a considerable master wing extension. The floor-plan was to be practical, energy efficient, spacious, and multi-functional while utilizing modern finish materials, new plumbing fixtures and appliances, updated ceiling treatments, decorative light fixtures, as well updated furnishings and décor throughout. What was once an interior that felt compartmentalized and melancholy has been given a new life featuring a design aesthetic that is vibrant, textural and classic.
